1. From the beginning, HKLTS has been officially registered with the Hong Kong government and operates under formal recognition. Certificates and diplomas issued in partnership with our cooperating institutions are accredited by their respective accrediting agencies. For students requiring official recognition of their diploma, an apostille may be obtained through the Hong Kong court.

2. In addition, HKLTS maintains membership with AETA, a mission-focused accrediting body for seminaries, further affirming our commitment to excellence in theological education. AETA is an association established for the purpose of providing theological education, pastoral training, general leadership, and human resource development needed in the mission field. It’s composed of theological seminaries, general schools, and a consortium, which is a collective of organizations dedicated to research and training.

ATA is a network of evangelical theological seminaries and institutions across Asia, formally established in 1970. Its vision is to strengthen theological education in diverse Asian contexts by fostering academic excellence, spiritual formation, and ministerial leadership.
ATA provides accreditation services to seminaries and theological schools, ensuring that programs meet internationally recognized standards of evangelical scholarship. It is also a member of the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education (ICETE), which connects theological institutions worldwide. Through ATA, schools like HKLTS participate in a broader movement of equipping leaders for the global mission of the Church, while benefiting from shared resources, partnerships, and scholarly collaboration.
