At the invitation of local pastors in the Philippines, there were several meetings with leadership pastors in Iloilo City. During these gatherings, specific discussions took place regarding HKLTS accepting pastoral candidates from the Philippine Baptist Convention into its Bachelor’s and Master’s programs for theological education. In May 2024, we held an MOU signing ceremony with Nehemiah International (NI), an NGO in Hong Kong. NI has been working in refugee and education ministries, and so HKLTS and NI were connected and shared a vision to work together to train local pastors and missionaries in the mission field with theological education. In February 2024, HKLTS visited Moody Theological Seminary in the United States with the Life Road Singers (LRS) to perform at the school's chapel, and after the LRS performance, HKLTS and Moody staff gathered together to sign an MOU.
